Brown Sugar
Shochu?
Brown Sugar Shochu, or “Kokuto Shochu” is a unique distilled spirit that can only be produced in Amami Oshima Islands.
This exclusivity is protected by law, making it a truly one-of-a-kind regional specialty.
黒糖焼酎は、奄美群島のみでしか生産ができない焼酎。黒糖のほのかな甘味と米麹の芳醇な風味をどうぞお楽しみください。
Unlike other types of Shochu, Brown Sugar Shochu is made using pure brown sugar and rice malt, creating a smooth, aromatic, and slightly sweet flavor with a rich depth of taste that sets it apart from other Japanese spirits.
